Who we are
Teluguvaari Calendar (“the app”) is published by Priyanka K. You can reach us at teluguvaariaiapps@gmail.com.
What the app uses
Your location (optional)
Sunrise, Rahu Kalam, Varjyam and festival dates depend on where you are. You can pick a city from the list, or tap “Use my current location”. Only if you tap that button does the app ask your phone for its position.
- It is read only while the app is open, never in the background.
- It is used only to calculate the Panchangam for where you are.
- It is rounded to about 1 km and saved on your phone only. It is not sent to us or to anyone else.
- If you allowed location and chose “current location”, the app refreshes the position quietly when it opens, so the times follow you if you travel.
- If you decline the permission, the app works normally with the city you choose.
Festival alerts (optional)
If you turn on alerts, the app asks your phone for permission to show notifications. The alerts are scheduled on your phone by the phone’s own reminder system: nothing is sent from a server and no push service is used. Which festivals, what time and which city are saved on your phone only. You can turn alerts off in the app, or in your phone’s Settings, at any time.
Sharing
When you tap Share or Refer friends, the app opens your phone’s share sheet with a short message and a link to the app store. You choose where it goes; the app never learns who you sent it to.
Rating
Once, after you have used the app on a few different days, it may show your phone’s own “Rate this app” prompt. Any rating you give is handled by Apple or Google.
Your choices
Your language, city, appearance and text-size settings and your alert choices are saved on your phone so the app remembers them.
What we do not do
- We do not have a server that receives your data, and the app does not send data to any server.
- We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, files or any device or advertising identifier.
- We do not use analytics, crash-reporting, advertising or tracking tools, and we do not share or sell information — we hold none.
- We do not need an account.
The app does not need the internet to work. Links you tap in the app, such as this policy or the store page, open in your browser or store app.
Stores and backups
- The Apple App Store and Google Play collect their own information about downloads and crashes under their own privacy policies. They may give us anonymous, aggregated statistics; these contain nothing that identifies you.
- If you back up your phone (iCloud or Google), the app’s saved settings may be included in that backup, under Apple’s or Google’s terms.
Deleting your data
Everything the app saves lives on your phone. Uninstall the app, or clear its data in your phone’s settings, and it is gone. We hold nothing that we could delete for you.
Permissions
- iPhone: “Location – While Using the App” (optional); Notifications (optional, for festival alerts).
- Android: approximate and precise location (optional); notifications (optional, for festival alerts); “run at startup”, “control vibration” and “prevent phone from sleeping”, so scheduled alerts still arrive after the phone restarts. Android also lists network access, which comes with the app’s building blocks; the app does not use it.
Children
The app collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
Your rights
Privacy laws such as the GDPR (Europe/UK), the CCPA/CPRA (California) and India’s DPDP Act give people rights to access, correct and delete personal data. Because we collect no personal data, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete. If you have a question, write to us.
Changes to this policy
If the app ever changes how it handles information — for example by adding online features — we will update this page and the date above before the change reaches you.
28 September 2026: added festival alerts, sharing and the rating prompt. None of them sends any information off your phone.

యాప్ ఏ సమాచారాన్ని వాడుతుంది
మీ ప్రాంతం (ఐచ్ఛికం)
సూర్యోదయం, రాహుకాలం, వర్జ్యం, పండుగ తేదీలు మీరు ఉన్న ప్రాంతాన్ని బట్టి మారుతాయి. జాబితా నుంచి ఒక నగరాన్ని ఎంచుకోవచ్చు, లేదా “నా ప్రస్తుత ప్రాంతం వాడండి” నొక్కవచ్చు. ఆ బటన్ నొక్కినప్పుడు మాత్రమే యాప్ మీ ఫోన్ స్థానాన్ని అడుగుతుంది.
- స్థానాన్ని యాప్ తెరిచి ఉన్నప్పుడు మాత్రమే చదువుతుంది — బ్యాక్‌గ్రౌండ్‌లో ఎప్పుడూ చదవదు.
- మీరు ఉన్న ప్రాంతానికి పంచాంగం లెక్కించడానికి మాత్రమే వాడుతుంది.
- దాన్ని సుమారు 1 కి.మీ. ఖచ్చితత్వానికి తగ్గించి మీ ఫోన్‌లో మాత్రమే భద్రపరుస్తుంది. మాకు గాని, మరెవరికి గాని పంపదు.
- మీరు అనుమతి ఇచ్చి “ప్రస్తుత ప్రాంతం” ఎంచుకుంటే, యాప్ తెరిచినప్పుడు స్థానాన్ని నిశ్శబ్దంగా నవీకరిస్తుంది — ప్రయాణం చేస్తే సమయాలు మీతో పాటు మారుతాయి.

పండుగ అలర్ట్స్ (ఐచ్ఛికం)
మీరు అలర్ట్స్ ఆన్ చేస్తే, నోటిఫికేషన్లు చూపించడానికి యాప్ మీ ఫోన్ అనుమతి అడుగుతుంది. అలర్ట్స్‌ను ఫోన్ సొంత రిమైండర్ వ్యవస్థతో మీ ఫోన్‌లోనే సెట్ చేస్తుంది: ఏ సర్వర్ నుంచీ ఏదీ పంపదు, పుష్ సేవ వాడదు. ఏ పండుగలు, ఏ సమయం, ఏ నగరం అనేవి మీ ఫోన్‌లో మాత్రమే ఉంటాయి. యాప్‌లో గాని, ఫోన్ సెట్టింగ్స్‌లో గాని ఎప్పుడైనా అలర్ట్స్ ఆపేయవచ్చు.
షేర్ చేయడం
షేర్ లేదా మిత్రులకు సూచించండి నొక్కినప్పుడు, యాప్ ఒక చిన్న సందేశం, యాప్ స్టోర్ లింక్‌తో మీ ఫోన్ షేర్ మెనూ తెరుస్తుంది. ఎక్కడికి పంపాలో మీరే ఎంచుకుంటారు; మీరు ఎవరికి పంపారో యాప్‌కు తెలియదు.
రేటింగ్
కొన్ని వేర్వేరు రోజులు వాడిన తర్వాత, ఒక్కసారి మాత్రమే, యాప్ మీ ఫోన్ సొంత “ఈ యాప్‌ను రేట్ చేయండి” అడుగును చూపించవచ్చు. మీరు ఇచ్చే రేటింగ్‌ను Apple లేదా Google నిర్వహిస్తాయి.

మేము చేయనివి
- మీ సమాచారాన్ని అందుకునే సర్వర్ మాకు లేదు; యాప్ ఏ సర్వర్‌కూ సమాచారం పంపదు.
- మీ పేరు, ఈమెయిల్, ఫోన్ నంబర్, కాంటాక్టులు, ఫోటోలు, ఫైళ్లు, ఏ పరికర లేదా ప్రకటన ఐడెంటిఫైయర్‌నూ సేకరించము.
- అనలిటిక్స్, క్రాష్ రిపోర్టింగ్, ప్రకటన లేదా ట్రాకింగ్ సాధనాలు వాడము; సమాచారాన్ని పంచుకోము, అమ్మము — మా వద్ద అసలు ఏమీ ఉండదు.
- ఖాతా అవసరం లేదు.
యాప్ పని చేయడానికి ఇంటర్నెట్ అవసరం లేదు. యాప్‌లో నొక్కే లింకులు (ఈ విధానం, స్టోర్ పేజీ వంటివి) మీ బ్రౌజర్‌లో లేదా స్టోర్ యాప్‌లో తెరుచుకుంటాయి.
స్టోర్లు, బ్యాకప్‌లు
- Apple App Store, Google Play తమ సొంత విధానాల ప్రకారం డౌన్‌లోడ్‌లు, క్రాష్‌ల గురించి సమాచారం సేకరిస్తాయి. అవి మాకు పేర్లు లేని సంక్షిప్త గణాంకాలు ఇవ్వవచ్చు; వాటిలో మిమ్మల్ని గుర్తించే వివరాలు ఉండవు.
- మీరు ఫోన్ బ్యాకప్ (iCloud లేదా Google) వాడుతున్నట్లయితే, యాప్ సెట్టింగ్‌లు ఆ బ్యాకప్‌లో ఉండవచ్చు — అది Apple / Google నిబంధనల ప్రకారం.
మీ డేటాను తొలగించడం
యాప్ భద్రపరిచేదంతా మీ ఫోన్‌లోనే ఉంటుంది. యాప్‌ను అన్‌ఇన్‌స్టాల్ చేస్తే, లేదా ఫోన్ సెట్టింగ్స్‌లో యాప్ డేటా క్లియర్ చేస్తే అదంతా పోతుంది. మీ కోసం తొలగించడానికి మా వద్ద ఏమీ లేదు.
అనుమతులు

- Android: సుమారు మరియు ఖచ్చితమైన స్థానం (ఐచ్ఛికం); నోటిఫికేషన్లు (ఐచ్ఛికం, పండుగ అలర్ట్స్ కోసం); ఫోన్ రీస్టార్ట్ అయినా సెట్ చేసిన అలర్ట్స్ రావడానికి “స్టార్టప్‌లో రన్ అవ్వడం”, “వైబ్రేషన్”, “ఫోన్ స్లీప్ అవ్వకుండా ఉంచడం”. Android నెట్‌వర్క్ యాక్సెస్ కూడా చూపిస్తుంది; అది యాప్ నిర్మాణ భాగాలతో వస్తుంది, యాప్ దాన్ని వాడదు.
పిల్లలు
పిల్లలతో సహా ఎవరి నుంచీ యాప్ వ్యక్తిగత సమాచారం సేకరించదు.
మీ హక్కులు
GDPR (యూరప్/UK), CCPA/CPRA (కాలిఫోర్నియా), భారత DPDP చట్టం వంటివి వ్యక్తిగత డేటాను చూడడం, సరిదిద్దడం, తొలగించడం వంటి హక్కులు ఇస్తాయి. మేము వ్యక్తిగత డేటా సేకరించము కాబట్టి, చూపించడానికి, సరిదిద్దడానికి, తొలగించడానికి ఏమీ ఉండదు. ఏదైనా సందేహం ఉంటే మాకు రాయండి.
ఈ విధానంలో మార్పులు
యాప్ సమాచారాన్ని నిర్వహించే విధానం ఎప్పుడైనా మారితే — ఉదాహరణకు ఆన్‌లైన్ సౌకర్యాలు జోడిస్తే — ఆ మార్పు మీకు చేరక ముందే ఈ పేజీని, పైన తేదీని నవీకరిస్తాం.
