  • Month calendar with the tithi under every date.
  • Over 180 festivals, vratams and observances a year — Ugadi to Sankranti, Bathukamma, every Ekadashi, Pradosham, Sankashta Chaturthi and public holidays, with a short note on what each major festival is about.
  • Share with family — send the day’s Panchangam to WhatsApp or any app in one tap.
  • More than 150 cities — every district centre in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, cities across the USA, Africa, the Gulf, Europe and Australia — or use your current location.
  • Telugu or English, light and dark themes, and a large-text option.
  • Private and offline — no ads, no accounts, no tracking, and it works without internet.

Coming soon to the App Store and Google Play.

How it is calculated

Almost everything is worked out on your phone from the real positions of the Sun and Moon for your city. (Varjyam and Amrita Kalam apply the traditional per-nakshatra ghati tables to those positions.) We follow the conventions Telugu calendars use: the Lahiri ayanamsa, months that end on Amavasya (Amavasyant), and a Panchangam day that runs from sunrise to the next sunrise.

We test the calculations against published Panchangams and astronomical records, and correct anything that differs.

Traditions do differ in places — for example, which day to keep an Ekadashi. The app follows the Smarta convention printed in Telugu Panchangams. For weddings, house-warmings and other important muhurtham, please also confirm with your family priest.
